This policy explains what Dasma Copy & Printing Services (“Dasma”, “we”) collects when you use this website or order from our shop at Unit 116, Block J, Karama Shopping Complex, Al Karama, Dubai, UAE, why we collect it, and the choices you have. What we collect
- Quote and order requests: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email (optional), the service you need, quantity, deadline and the details you type in. The website does not store or transmit these — it writes them into a WhatsApp message or email that you choose to send to us from your own app.
- Orders: artwork and documents you send us for printing or copying, delivery address, and payment and invoice records.
- Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp, email or Instagram.
- Website analytics (only if you allow it): anonymous, aggregated page-view counts through Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you.
- Technical logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and give you a price (your consent, and steps before a contract).
- To produce, deliver and invoice your order (performance of a contract).
- To keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
- To keep your artwork on file so reorders take one message (legitimate interest — you can ask us to delete it).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and, if you allow it, runs analytics.
- Google (Gmail) — our email inbox, when you email us.
- WhatsApp / Meta — when you choose to message us there.
- Couriers — your name, number and address when we deliver.
Some of these providers process data outside the UAE. We only use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not become orders: up to 12 months.
- Artwork and job files: while you remain a customer, so reorders are simple — deleted on request.
- Invoices and accounting records: as long as UAE tax law requires.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one small item in your browser (local storage) to remember your cookie choice. If you select “Allow analytics”, the cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics script loads; if you select “Essential only”, it never loads. Change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the UAE Data Office.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to customer files and messages is limited to staff who need them to do the job.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page.
